Dernier état des glaces du St-Laurent
L’hiver a commencé tôt cette année et la situation des glaces devient difficile.
Un embâcle s’est formé sur le lac Saint-Pierre et le bureau des glaces de la Garde Côtière Canadienne a émis le 22 Janvier un avis de «restriction à la navigation» qui a arrêté le trafic entre l’île des Barques et Sorel. En raison de cette restriction, 9 navires en aval et 13 navires en amont ont été retardés. Trois brise-glaces ont travaillé sans relâche pour résoudre le problème.
La restriction a été levée le 26 Janvier et la navigation normale dans les deux directions a repris le 27 janvier.
